MLS PLANS HALTED
David Beckham’s ambitions plans to become the owner of a MLS franchise could come to a halt after the MLS Commissioner, Don Garber, said that the complexity surrounding the plans to build a stadium in Miami is threatening to destroy the whole deal.
Beckham was expected to invest around £ 20 million of his own money in order to start a MLS franchise. This was as per the contract agreement that he signed when he moved to the league in 2007 with LA Galaxy. After retiring from football recently, Beckham revealed his ambitions to become a football club owner.

The Spurs star picked up the injury after coming on against Stoke in the second half, with further scans confirming the 22-year old now faces up to 10 weeks on the sidelines with the injury.
