David Beckham has confirmed his plans to return to MLS after starting a new franchise in Miami. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder will be able to start this franchise at heavily discounted price of $ 25 million, as it was included as part of his contract when he signed for LA Galaxy in 2007.
Beckham played in MLS for five years from 2007 to 2012. During this period, the profile of the league improved immensely and it now boasts of players like Thierry Henry and Robbie Keane amongst others.
